Apart from office and residential buildings, the VIENNA DC also possesses educational institutions for children. In addition to the kindergarden, one of them operating in English, there is also a bilingual primary school (German/English).
The school was opened in September 1999. The building was designed by architect Hans Hollein as a part of the 'School Construction Programme 2000'. The parts of the building house a total of 9 classrooms and a gymnasium while the day-care centre has four day-care groups and five kindergarden classes.
